To see the appropriate clinician/GP please telephone the Health Centre from 8.30am onwards, where you will be given a time to come to surgery. It may not always be possible to see the GP of your choice but we will try to accommodate you. You may be contacted by a nurse practitioner who may be able to signpost you to another member of staff who may be able to help you.
The surgery operates two systems to help us to see patients with problems that need to be seen on that day in morning surgeries and/or patients with routine issues that can be pre-booked into an evening surgery.
GP morning surgery: Monday to Friday, every morning from 09.00.
GP evening surgery: Monday to Friday, pre-booked surgeries between 4pm and 5.50pm
If you are unable to attend an arranged appointment, please let the practice know so that we can offer the appointment to another patient.
If you are suffering with a common ailment such as conjunctivitis, you can see a pharmacist who will be able to provide treatment for the condition. There is no charge for this service.
If you are too ill to attend surgery and you require a visit at home, please if possible call the surgery before 11am, as this will assist the doctor in arranging his home visits. All emergency calls with be dealt with immediately. At times where appropriate, you may be asked to attend surgery where you will be seen straightaway, by attending surgery you will benefit from more facilities and equipment for the doctor to use for your care.
It is the policy of the practice to offer a chaperon for a physical examination when required.
